Are you looking for ways to strengthen your nonprofit organization’s programs and increase effectiveness? Join us for the first in a four-part series of seminars on how to sustain a skills-based volunteer program on Thursday, April 22nd from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Olympia Center.
This series of workshops is designed to create collaborations between nonprofit organizations and skills-based volunteers to enhance community services. The first workshop in the series, “Capacity,” will help participants improve their nonprofit organization’s capacity with a sustainable skills-based volunteer program.
The class will discuss:
o Overview of a skills-based volunteer program
o Assessing your current organization’s needs
o Matching skills–based volunteers with organization’s needs
o Volunteer Recruitment, Training and Retention

Track 2, NonProfit Solution NW’s workshop series, is geared towards nonprofit professionals interested in building organizational volunteer capacity.
